Another focus of the company is Mesotherapy. At the spearhead is the renowned Meso-Cocktails™, formulated for use with devices that increase skin permeability, such as Electroporation, Laser, Ultrasound, and Micro-needling devices (Meso-Roller and Meso-Pen).

The nine Meso-Cocktails™ offer different benefits such as firming skin, diminishing fine lines, smoothing scars and stretch marks, whitening, etc., and can easily penetrate the skin with the devices mentioned above.

HIKARI Laboratories was founded by Mrs. Or Fooks and Dr. Assaf Zeira who combine expertise in science and professional cosmetics. The company focuses on porting discoveries from the field of longevity into cosmetics. This leads to cosmetic products with novel properties such as health benefits and age-reversing benefits. This activity puts the company at the forefront of scientific research and in a position of a world leader. R&D is done by Hikari scientists in collaboration with award-winning scientists from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Science

Our Technology

The first technology is micro-needling. HIKARI Laboratory scientists developed a unique formula based on nanoemulsion, called NFMC-30 (Needle-Free Mesotherapy Complex with 30 active ingredients). NFMC-30 carries hydrophilic and hydrophobic highly potent active ingredients, some of which the high molecular weight, that are regarded collectively as the «skin food». Microneedling creates a synergy between skin rejuvenation and Mesotherapy. The micro-channels opened by the tiny pins (1) induce the formation of new collagen and elastin, and (2) increase skin permeability, which in turn allows the delivery of NFMC-30 into deep skin layers. NFMC-30 is the base complex used in the 9 MesoCocktails™ mentioned before.

NAD PRECURSORS

The Golden Molecule

The second patented technology is about NAD+ and a way to deliver its precursors to the skin. NAD+ established its reputation as a key longevity ingredient. Independent studies around the globe have shown its role in fighting many diseases of old age, as well as its ability to prolong the life of various animal species. HIKARI Laboratory scientists, together with chemists from the Hebrew university developed a patented active ingredient called NAD-NOBEL. It proposes a novel way to create NAD+ precursors (NR and NMN) and to encapsulate them in silica-based shells that keep them isolated from the plenty of water found in the skin-care product. The ingredient works to smooth wrinkles, firm the skin and delay the aging process, thus giving the skin a uniform tone and a more radiant and healthier appearance.
